Hillary Clinton violated federal official rules when it was revealed she used a personal e-mail address while performing her duties as Secretary of State. She did not have a government e-mail address during her tenure as Secretary, which goes against rules set forth by the Federal Records Act.
Mrs. Clinton denied such claims, insisting that she, “Did not, nor have I ever, had inappropriate textual relations with that e-mail address.” The former Secretary made a brief appearance at a press conference this morning, her husband standing dutifully by her side. “I did not have a not-personal relationship with this account. I used it only for personal communications between my family and friends.”
The spokesperson for the Clintons requested the public respect the family’s privacy at this time. Chelsea was unable to be reached for comment.
