Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will meet on the debate stage for the first time on Monday evening, and there is one question that every American wants to see answered:
Uh… is Hillary going to wear those brass knuckles she’s been going around with? And if she does, is she going to use them?
“Look, what Hillary wears to the debate is really not the thing we should be concerned about here. Is anybody asking Donald Trump what he is or isn’t wearing on his hands?” said Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook. “But as far as the brass knuckles go, we’ve had some talks with her about those and it seems like she feels pretty strongly about keeping them on.”
The brass knuckles appeared on Clinton’s left fist after two days of debate prep during which the Democratic nominee was forced to debate a staffer pretending to be Trump. No one is sure where they came from.
“I’m looking forward to the debate,” said Clinton, when reporters caught up with her outside her New York hotel. “Let’s just say I’m really, really, really looking forward to it,” she continued, unprompted, grinding the brass knuckles into her right palm. “It’s going to be really, really, really, really, really fun.”
