When tragedy strikes, it’s only human to empathize and show whatever support you can to the victims. Whether it’s a donation to the Red Cross or a tinted Facebook profile pic, we say go for it. But, here’s the thing: it’s real weird when people use a vague connection to tragedy to talk about themselves. Everyone’s shocked and sad about Paris. But though the fact that someone once mistook you for Audrey Tautou is cool for you, it is not super relevant to the horror. Do not post that shit.
